Analysis of Vibration Characteristics of FPCBs _4_Summary
In this paper, a flexible circuit board with attached electronic components is targeted as the structure of interest. A vibration theoretical model is established for this flexible circuit board, and a design of a flexible circuit board with attached electronic components is developed. The dynamic characteristics of the board are analyzed through simulation calculations. The results indicate that under long-term dynamic load excitation, high stress and strain occur at the fixed constraints and at areas where the equivalent mass is relatively large.To avoid stress concentration.To prevent damage and failure of electronic components caused by stress concentration, reasonable layout of the electronic components can be employed to avoid detrimental phenomena due to excessive stress.
